### National IT and Telephony Leader Marks Significant Milestone

JONESBORO, Ark. — September 17, 2021 — Optus turns 30 this year, but the IT and telephony leader has already received its gift: being able to enhance and simplify communications and collaboration for thousands of customers. Founded by Mark Duckworth, the Optus brand originally emerged as Matrix Telecommunications, Inc. in October 1991.
