What is your official job title?
Sales Operations Manager

What SHOULD your job title be?
Chaos Coordinator

Describe your day-to-day job.
I assist the sales team in their daily jobs so that they have more time to focus on prospecting and developing their current customer relationships. I also work closely with other departments to help make sure customer needs are being met.

What is one thing that Optus does better than any other employer you have had in the past?
I have worked for both the small business world and large corporate world. The one thing that makes Optus stand out from the rest is how quickly they are able to recognize someone for a job well done or for thinking outside of the box. I have had co-workers, supervisors and managers in other departments take their own time to tell me how well I am doing or go to management to tell them, and I’m still surprised to this day at the kindness they have shown me since I started my journey here over a year ago.

What do you like most about working at Optus?
My team of friends (yes, they are friends) and getting to wear jeans to work.

Have you received recognition from Optus on a job well done?  If so, what was the recognition?
I received the VIP Support award for the 3rd quarter in 2021. I was honestly surprised considering I had only been working here for around 6 months at the time.

What is your favorite part of the Optus community?
There are so many people on the sales team and other departments who come to mind that I couldn’t name them all. That I get up and enjoy driving in to work to see people says enough.
